This week, owners of an HTC One (M7) smartphone will start receiving the Sense 6.0 software update that other people out there who have an HTC One smartphone have seen starting a few weeks back.

According to HTC’s Mohammed Versi, executive director of product management, the software has already received the necessary approvals, which means that the official roll-out should kick off very soon, maybe even as soon as today.

“AT&T HTC One (M7) Owners! We have received technical approval on Sense 6 update. Expect the OTA to start early next week. Thanks,” he said in a tweet.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the update was already pushed to the owners of HTC One M7 devices in other markets out there, after making its official debut on HTC One M8 in late March.

Furthermore, wireless carriers in the United States have already started to deliver the new software to their HTC One (M7) users, including Sprint and Verizon.

Although no official release timeframe for the new software has been provided, the deployment should kick off during the next few days, if not as soon as today. More on this will be available soon, so stay tuned to learn the news.
