14 DAY TRIAL // Samsung’s mid-range Galaxy Mega phablets are expected to get a small refresh in the not too distant future, as the mobile phone maker is reportedly preparing a Plum Purple color flavor for launch around week 28 – 30.
No official info on the matter has been provided as of now, but SamMobile claims that the new color variant will be announced soon, and that both Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Galaxy Mega 6.3 devices will receive it.
Running under Google’s Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system with Samsung’s Nature UX loaded on top, the two smartphones are already available for purchase in other color variants.
Both smartphones pack dual-core processors inside, 1.5GB of RAM, and 8-megapixel photo snappers on the back.
Given that it is not unusual for Samsung to launch new color flavors of already available devices, this rumor is likely to pan out, though we’ll still take it with a grain of salt for now.
