With phones becoming bigger and more powerful, users are starting to learn that having a spare battery or portable charger with you might prove to be a life-saver in situations when you run out of battery and you absolutely need to use your device.

Samsung has been making battery packs for a while now, which are really nothing out of the ordinary. But its current batch of products from this category will certainly catch your eye. Why? Because they have cute animals plastered on them.

The new Animal Edition battery packs have been launched as part of the company’s “Charge the Life” initiative. It’s Samsung’s way of reminding us of a few endangered species including the Fennec Fox, Giant Panda, Red Panda and the Golden Snub-nosed Monkey.

Samsung also invites you to download a complementary Charge the Life app from the Google Play Store, which will show you an animated avatar of your favorite animal changing its facial expression as the phone’s battery levels start going down.

The Korean tech giant offers the power packages in two different variants, the fennec fox and red panda offer 8,400 mAh capacity, while the big panda and golden monkey will give you 11,300 mAh worth of power.
