The smartphone features a clamshell form factor and dual displays

The successor of the SCH-W899 clamshell Android launched one year ago, the SCH-W999 will soon make its entrance in the Chinese smartphone market.

According to the guys over at SammyHub, Samsung SCH-W999 is expected to arrive in stores soon, but no details on the phone's exact release have been revealed yet.

The clamshell features two WVGA OLED displays with 800 x 480 pixels resolution, allowing for both candybar and clamshell use.

The phone will run Google's Android operating system, though there's no information on its version.

Other highlights of the Android device include: Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP support, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n connectivity, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB), built-in GPS receiver and dual cameras.

Rumors has it that the SCH-W999 will be launched on the market via China Telecom carrier, just like its SCH-W899 predecessor.
