T-Mobile has been long rumored to plan the release of new handsets from Samsung, in addition to the already made official Galaxy S III, but no specific info on what they would be has emerged so far.

Today, however, we can have a look at a Samsung QWERTY device that sports T-Mobile’s branding, and which could be the SGH-T699 model that made it to the headlines a few times before.

The image comes from TmoNews, which also stumbled upon some leaked specs with the device, suggesting that it would arrive on shelves as an Android 4.0.4 smartphone.

The rumored specifications for this phone also include a 5MP camera placed on its back, a front camera for video calling, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (which could be either S3 or S4).

It will also sport a sliding form factor, with a five-row QWERTY to enable fast input. The phone won’t land as a high-end device, but it is said to run smoothly.
