Samsung I8800 Redwood leaked for the first time earlier this spring and then again this month, when the smartphone was spotted running the upcoming Tizen 3.0 operating system.

Today, the folks over at GSMArena report that the second set of benchmark results of the I8800 Redwood have been spotted on Power Board, the large database of benchmark results.

Although the handset is equipped with an older generation of chipsets, it appears that Samsung did a great job optimizing the Tizen OS to work on the I8800 Redwood, which is why it got great results.

It looks like the average score for the Tizen-powered Samsung I8800 Redwood was 2,828, which is only slightly lower than Galaxy Note 3's 3,041 benchmark score.

Samsung I8800 Redwood is equipped with an Exynos 4412 chipset that packs a quad-core processor and a Mali-400 graphics processing unit.

The bad news is that we won't see the I8800 Redwood on the market anytime soon as Samsung has announced that the first Tizen-based smartphones will go on sale in 2014.
