We reported yesterday on the upcoming Samsung Huron smartphone for Verizon Wireless and now it looks like the first press render showing the device has just leaked online.

According to @evleaks, Samsung Huron, also known as SM-W750V, will be powered by Windows Phone 8.1 and is said to be on track for release around the same timeframe as Nokia Lumia ICON.

However, this is less likely to happen as Microsoft will not bring the next Windows Phone 8.1 operating system to consumers until April/May, whereas the Nokia Lumia ICON is expected to arrive at Verizon Wireless by the end of this month.

Samsung Huron is a mid-range Windows Phone-powered smartphone that is rumored to come equipped with a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display. As seen in the picture, it strongly resembles the Galaxy S4, just as previously tipped.

No other details on the phone’s specs sheet have been unveiled, but we suspect that more info will emerge in the coming weeks. Perhaps the Huron will be showcased at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014 as well.
