Samsung's Galaxy Tab 8.9 Android-based tablet PC can easily prove a great device on its own, and an even better one when the speed of its application process has been pushed up to 1.4GHz.

According to a member of the XDA-Developers community, the CPU inside the tablet PC can be easily pushed up to 1.2GHz and 1.4GHz, and the device remains stable.

Moreover, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 delivers increased performance improvements as soon as the processor clock was brought up a bit.

All of the necessary instructions on the matter can be found on the XDA-Developers forum here and those who would like to play around with the performance capabilities of their Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 devices can now do so.

Before making the move, however, keep in mind that you will be the only ones to be held responsible, provided that something goes wrong during the process.
