Rumor has it that Samsung plans to launch a Plus version of its Galaxy S6 edge flagship smartphone. There were numerous reports in the past leaking the phone's specs sheet, but also a picture popped up online showing a cased Galaxy S6 Plus edge.

Today, a new, clearer picture of the smartphone has been published by @OnLeaks. He also got the phone's dimensions (154.45 x 75.80 x 6.85mm), which suggest the Galaxy S6 edge Plus might boast a 5.5-inch Quad HD display.

This is quite surprising since previous rumors pointed to a slightly larger 5.7-inch Quad HD display. Still, the dimensions of the smartphone are merely suggesting that it could have a 5.5-inch screen, so that doesn't mean it must be true.

The rest of the phone's specs remain the same for the moment since we don't have any additional details on the matter.

So, instead of the Exynos 7420 octa-core CPU, the Plus version of Galaxy S6 edge would be packed with a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 CPU and an Adreno 418 graphics processing unit.

The Galaxy S6 edge Plus might also come with an S Pen stylus inside, but this piece of information doesn't seem to be confirmed by the picture that has just leaked. Other details on the phone's specs remain a mystery for the moment.
