There’s no doubt about it, Samsung will launch a smaller version of the Galaxy S5, so the only question is when exactly the smartphone will go official.

Well, it looks like we’re getting close to a release date, as more and more details on the alleged Galaxy S5 mini continue to surface online.

The latest info on the upcoming handset comes via GSMArena, which has just spotted the smartphone’s support page on Samsung Finland website.

This is basically a confirmation that the Samsung SM-G800F, also known as Galaxy S5 mini is about to make its debut. Unfortunately, the support page of the smartphone does not unveil any details on its specs sheet, so we must continue to rely on the latest rumors.

From what we have learned until now, the Galaxy S5 mini seems to be another IP67-certified smartphone that will pack a decent 4.5-inch HD (720p) capacitive touchscreen display.

The smartphone is also said to come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset and an enhanced 8-megapixel rear-facing camera.

No word on the amount of RAM and storage yet, but we suspect that more details will emerge in the coming days, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
