It’s clear that Samsung will not launch the Galaxy S5 next month and save the official announcement for Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014, which is set to take place in Barcelona, in late February.

However, lots of details on the next flagship smartphone of the Galaxy S series have emerged lately, though we’re inclined to believe that the devices in question are just prototypes that Samsung is currently testing.

One such device has just appeared in AnTuTu’s benchmark database and is dubbed Samsung SM-G900F, the same codename that Galaxy S5 is allegedly tagged with.

Phonearena reports that the smartphone is said to pack a powerful Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 800 chipset that accommodates a 2.5 GHz quad-core processor and 3GB of RAM.

The Samsung SM-G900F seems to pack a 16-megapixel main camera on the back and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

Last but not least, the device does not seem to boast the 2K display previously rumored, instead it comes with a “standard” full HD (1080p) screen.
