Most of the latest reports on the next flagship Samsung Galaxy S smartphone suggested that the phone would be released in the first quarter of the next year, but it appears that things won’t happen this way.

In fact, recent info on the matter suggests that Samsung might not launch the device, supposedly called Galaxy S5, until late April. Eldar Murtazin of MobileReview is the one to claim that in a recent tweet.

No official confirmation on the upcoming device has been provided as of now, but the South Korean company is certain to make a new high-end Android-based device official in the first half of the next year.

Details on what the handset should feature in terms of hardware haven’t been provided either, though rumor has it that it will feature a 2k screen, as well as a 64-bit processor inside.
