Unveiled last month at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014, Samsung Galaxy S5 will go on sale in more than 150 countries beginning April 11.

Samsung has already confirmed Galaxy S5 launch events for several countries, including Australia, Malaysia and, now, Romania.

According to Samsung Romania, the Galaxy S5 will be launched for the press on March 24, a few days earlier than the other two countries mentioned earlier.

The smartphone is expected to hit shelves on April 11, as Samsung announced last month, though the information has yet to be confirmed by Romanian carriers and retailers that will offer the Galaxy S5.

For the time being, Orange Romania seems to have one of the better deals for those who do not wish to commit to a long-term contract. The carrier offers the Samsung Galaxy S5 for €700 ($975) outright.

The Romanian network operator also provides customers with various on-contract price options for the Galaxy S5. For example, you could get it for only €300 ($415) on a 2-year Pantera 44 plan. Those who opt for this offer will also receive a free black S-View cover for the Samsung Galaxy S5.

There are other online retailers in Romania that have already started taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S5, but they usually ask around the same €700 ($975) outright price.
