Samsung’s latest flagship Android-based devices arrived on shelves with plastic bodies, but chances are that this will change when Galaxy S5 arrives on the market.

Apparently, the handset vendor is already in talks with Catcher Technology, the Taiwanese company that builds the metal bodies for HTC One and Apple’s iPad for a partnership, taipeitimes reports.

As SamMobile notes, given that the deal is expected to include a high-end smartphone from the second quarter of the year, Samsung might indeed adopt a metallic design for the Galaxy S5.

No official confirmation on this has emerged until now, but chances are that Samsung will kick off the production for the next flagship device in a few months, which means that more on this will emerge soon. Keep an eye on this space for additional info.
