14 DAY TRIAL // Owners of a Samsung Galaxy S4 SGH-M919N smartphone on the network of wireless carrier Metro PCS can now download and install the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system.
The update started to arrive on this version of the smartphone a few days ago, and the rollout should already be in full sing.
In addition to the enhancements that Android 4.3 packs inside, the new update will provide Galaxy S4 users with Samsung Galaxy Gear Compatibility, as well as with support for Samsung Knox.
As Android Police notes, these are the same enhancements that landed on other versions of the Galaxy S4, so there’s no surprise there. The updated software is being pushed to smartphones over the air, and will arrive as version M919NUVUEMK5.
Users interested in downloading and installing it should head over to Menu > Settings > More > About device > Software update and hit the Check now button. More info on the update can be found on this page on Samsung's support website.
