It looks like Rogers Samsung Galaxy S II LTE has just gotten its first price cut, as the smartphone is now $20 cheaper than the original price.

Rogers customers can order the recently launched Galaxy S II LTE for only $179.99 (130 EUR) on select three-year plans.

Unfortunately, the suggested retail price is the same, so customer who want to avoid being tied by a long term contract will have to pay $649.99 (470 EUR) upfront.

The Galaxy S II LTE is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread and features Samsung's TouchWiz 4.0 user interface on top.

However, the Korean handset maker confirmed that most of its high-end Galaxy family devices will receive the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade next year.

In addition, the LTE-enabled device is equipped with a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm APQ8060 Snapdragon processor, 16GB storage and 1GB of RAM.
