Officially unveiled earlier this month, Samsung Galaxy Pocket has yet to make its debut on the smartphone market. Unfortunately, the handset maker did not reveal the phone’s release date.

However, the folks over at AndroidOS have just learned that the Galaxy Pocket is currently on “Coming Soon” at Indian retailer Flipkart.

Even though there’s no telling exactly when the smartphone is available for purchase, it shouldn’t take too long until Galaxy Pocket hits shelves in India.

Rumor has it that this affordable smartphone powered by Gingerbread platform will be priced at around Rs 8,000 (150 USD or 15 EUR).

As for specs sheet, Samsung Galaxy Pocket is equipped with a low-performance 832 MHz single-core processor and packs 3GB of internal memory, a 2-megapixel rear camera and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).
