It looks like the rumored Samsung Galaxy F, also known as SM-G900F, has nothing to do with the upcoming Galaxy S5 smartphone. According to previous rumors, the Galaxy F is a “premium” version of Galaxy S5, entirely made of metallic alloy.

However, famous leaker Eldar Murtazin claims that Samsung Galaxy F is just an internal codename for the “premium” smartphone, which is said to feature a metallic body.

The F is supposedly coming from “fashion,” which means that the device will have a different target than both Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S5.

Speaking of which, Murtazin has also said that the Galaxy F is based on the Galaxy S4 model rather than the unannounced Samsung Galaxy S5.

No details on the Galaxy F specs have been leaked yet, but if the info provided by Murtazin proves to be accurate, the Galaxy S5 will remain Samsung’s flagship smartphone.
