Samsung officially introduced the Galaxy Core Plus in Taiwan about two weeks ago, but the South Korean company did not unveil any plans to launch the smartphone in other countries as well.

Customers in Taiwan were offered the option to purchase the Galaxy Core Plus for only $270 (€200) off contract, which was quite a good price considering the phone’s specs sheet.

Today, esphoneblog reports that Samsung Galaxy Core Plus is now available for purchase in Finland via major retailer Gigantti. Android fans in Finland can pick this one up for no less than €300/$410, which is considerably higher than the initial pricing in Taiwan.

The successor of Samsung Galaxy Core comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and packs a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz.

The smartphone sports a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash and video recording.

There’s also a secondary VGA front-facing camera for video calls, 3G connectivity and Bluetooth. The Galaxy Core Plus features only 4GB of internal memory, but users will be able to further expand storage up to 64GB via microSD memory card.
