Good news for Samsung fans still waiting for the company’s premium Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 smartphones, as the handsets have been confirmed to hit shelves in Q1 2015.

Dutch blog site AndroidPlanet reports that both Galaxy A series smartphones will be available for purchase during the first quarter of 2015. Although the release timeframe is a bit wider than one would have expected, at least we know that the devices will eventually be launched in Europe, after being delayed in China last week.

Moreover, potential customers may want to know that Samsung Galaxy A3 will probably go on sale for around €310 ($380) outright, while the Galaxy A5 will cost no less than €410 ($505).

Unfortunately, considering their specs, these prices do seem a bit exaggerated, but Samsung is known for these practices, so unless you are willing to wait for a discount that might come several months after the initial release, then you will have to pay the full price.

Keep in mind that, while the information only refers to availability of Samsung Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 in the Netherlands, we can safely assume that both smartphones will be launched in other European countries around the same timeframe. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
