14 DAY TRIAL // Samsung has yet to confirm exact release dates for its Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for some of its Galaxy devices. According to the latest reports, the update is now being tested at various carriers and is expected to arrive on a few Galaxy smartphones this month.
Until then, (in)famous leaker @eldarmurtazin has posted a screenshot that shows the KitKat status bar, which will be included in the updates delivered by Samsung.
The status bar does not feature any colors except for white, which makes it look pretty clean. No other details have been leaked, but we suspect that more screenshots on Samsung’s KitKat upgrade will surface in the coming days.
Samsung plans to launch its next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S5, later this month at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014, but the device will ship with Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system out of the box.
