14 DAY TRIAL // An updated version of the Runtastic application is now available for download for the owners of Android devices out there, namely Runtastic 5.0.
The new app iteration comes with a revamped design, capable of offering a brand-new user experience to all people, with new features and improved functions packed inside, a recent post on Android Police notes.
The mobile software, which has already seen over 70 million downloads worldwide, now sports a clean, modern design, while also allowing users to easily customize screens and to have access to navigation options, so as to bring them in line with their own preferences.
Additionally, the software will keep data seamlessly synced between the handset and users’ Runtastic.com accounts. At the same time, it comes with a focus on Hydration, a “key component of staying healthy and becoming fit,” as the company puts it.
Other new features in the Android app include Runtastic Training Plans, which can be purchased either from within Runtastic, or on Runtastic.com. The Music Player and LIVE Tracking & Cheering features, previously available only in the PRO version, are now free for all users.
The same as before, Runtastic is compatible with all devices running under Android 2.2 and newer platform releases. It is also optimized for use on tablets.
