Canadian mobile phone maker BlackBerry has been long rumored to plan on bringing to the market new smartphones that would run under the BlackBerry 10 operating system, and a new photo to prove that has reportedly emerged online.

Spotted on Instagram, the image allegedly shows the BlackBerry R10 smartphone that should arrive on shelves as a cheaper version of the Q10, although nothing has been officially confirmed on the matter for the time being.

According to n4bb, the R-Series devices are set to arrive on shelves in a variety of color flavors, Red being only one of them, and they will all target the entry level of the market.

BlackBerry should formally introduce the new devices sometime in the second half of the year, though specific info on when that might happen hasn’t been provided as of now. Stay tuned for more on this.
