Early this month, the good folks over at RARLAB launched the popular compression program archiver RAR for Android devices. The initial version has been plagued by some bugs that needed to be fixed and today, the developers have announced that a new update is available for download.

Aside from the usual bug fixes, developers have confirmed that the update brings some stability improvements and a fix for a crash that had been bugging users for three weeks.

However, the latest update is not all about bug fixing. According to the official changelog, the folks over at RARLAB have introduced a new “Send” command in options menu, which will allow users to send files to other applications.

RARLAB explains that the new feature works for files both inside and outside of archives. Keep in mind though that if the new feature is activated inside of archive and no files are selected, the entire archive is sent.

Furthermore, in case some files are selected, they are unpacked to temporary folder and sent. No other changes have been implemented in the latest version of RAR for Android.

You can now download RAR for Android 5.10.build14 for free via Softpedia. The developers have confirmed that the application is compatible with most devices powered by Android 4.0 and up.
