Samsung has just introduced a Pink Samsung Galaxy S II in South Korea to refresh its Galaxy family of Android smartphones.
Aimed at women, the device has the same features and design as the original Galaxy S II. It will be interesting to see if the Korean handset maker will be able to boost its sales with the new Pink Galaxy S II.
According to the folks over at SammyHub, Samsung sold more than 4 million Galaxy S II units only in South Korea, including 850,000 white versions.
Another 1 million Pink Galaxy S II units sold within the next few months won't hurt a bit. There is no information about the Pink version of the smartphone being released in other regions yet.
However, it won't come as a surprise if Samsung decided to launch it other countries as well, if sales prove satisfactory in South Korea.
