Apparently Pantech is one of AT&T’s providers of LTE devices. Shortly after we spotted the Pantech P4100 tablet, another LTE device appeared in FCC (Federal Communications Commission) system, the Pantech P9070.

Unfortunately, there are no details on the phone’s specs sheet other than the fact that it is compatible with AT&T’s LTE bands.

It is also worth mentioning that the Pantech P9070 received Wi-Fi certification several months ago, in August, which means that it’s on AT&T’s roadmap for a long time.

Known only as Pantech 9070, the handset may be announced in early 2012, possibly at CES or MWC 2012 trade fairs.

Although there’s no word on the phone’s price options, we can assume that AT&T plans to launch it as an alternative at those expensive LTE-enabled devices released by Samsung, Motorola, LG and HTC.
