AT&T may have plans for more than one LTE tablet this year. Last week the Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition was spotted at FCC (Federal Communications Commission) with AT&T bands.
Today, the folks over at WirelessGoodness discovered another LTE-enabled tablet that may be headed to AT&T, the Pantech P4100.
Rumor has it that Pantech P4100 is a 7-inch tablet that runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system and packs a dual core Qualcomm processor clocked at 1.5 GHz.
Apparently, the slate has just been approved by FCC with LTE bands 4 and 13. In addition, WCDMA bands II and IV received FCC’s approval as well, which indicates that the Pantech P4100 is indeed making its way to AT&T.
However, there’s no word on the tablet’s exact release date or pricing options, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
