Chinese mobile phone maker Oppo is reportedly gearing up for the release of two new devices in the not-too-distant future, namely an Oppo N1 mini and an Oppo N2.

As their names suggest, both of these devices should be released as successors for the Oppo N1, which was launched with a 13-megapixel camera that can rotate 206 degrees, so that it can be used as both front and back camera.

The upcoming Oppo N1 is reportedly set to arrive on shelves with a 5-inch touchscreen display, which will make it a “mini” device only when compared to its predecessor, the N1, released with a large 5.9-inch touchscreen, as PhoneArena notes.

Moreover, the yet unannounced device is expected to land on shelves with an octa-core Exynos 5422 chipset inside. However, it seems that Oppo is planning multiple versions of the smartphone, including one that will feature 4G LTE connectivity.

In addition to the N1 mini, Oppo is also said to be working on a full-featured successor for the N1 and to plan on releasing it under the name of Oppo N2.

Little is known on this smartphone for the time being, but it might not be too long before details on it start arriving, provided that the handset is real. Stay tuned for more on the matter.
