Last week, Chinese mobile phone maker Oppo announced the upcoming release of a smaller version of its Oppo N1 smartphone, and some info on the pricing of this device is now available.

According to info coming from MTKsj, the upcoming handset will cost 2,699 Yuan ($431 / €317) in China, which brings it quite close to the Oppo N1 that landed on shelves last year. The new phone will be released in the country on June 11, it seems.

In addition to unveiling info on the device’s cost, the news site has also published a list with some of its hardware specifications, confirming that it will sport a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 (MSM8928) processor inside.

At the same time, the mobile phone is said to arrive on shelves with a 5-inch screen capable of delivering a 720p HD resolution, and to include 2GB of internal storage.

However, as UnwiredView notes, this might actually be an error, and Oppo N1 mini will include 2GB of RAM and a higher amount of internal memory.

One way or the other, we’ll see the phone released with a 13-megapixel camera on the back, as well as with a 2140mAh battery. The handset runs under Oppo’s own Color OS, which is based on the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system.
