The smartphone is expected to go official in Beijing

Chinese mobile phone maker Oppo is getting ready for the launch of a new high-end smartphone in the popular Find series, and it appears that March 19 might be the day when this phone becomes official.

The handset, called Oppo Find 7, has been teased for several weeks now, but its maker did not share specifics on its arrival until now.

However, it seems that the company has finally decided to make things official, and has started teasing on its Weibo account that the smartphone will be announced on March 19 during a press event held at the 798 Beijing Art District at 7pm, Oppo Insider reports.

The upcoming smartphone is expected to land on shelves with a 5.5-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a 2K resolution, a Snapdragon 800/805 processor, 3GB of RAM, and support for 4G LTE connectivity.
