Opera Software has just released a new version of its Opera Browser Beta for Android devices. This is not an update that just adds new features or fixes bugs, as developers have announced that the new beta version of Opera for Android comes with a brand new fresh engine.

The Discover feature has been changed as well and lots of improvements and fixes have been included in the update. According to Opera, the revamped Discover feature will now allow users to swipe through the latest news.

In addition, new experimental rendering improvements have been applied, along with better spinner behavior. There’s also a new Discover setting that allows users to turn Speed Dial notifications on/off and a “Copy link” context menu option on pages and in history view.

The Chromium version has been updated to 34 and the developers have also confirmed that they have implemented lots of stability and usability improvements.

The Password manager has been fixed as well, so users can now rest assured that it will no longer fail to suggest saved passwords for multiple sites.

Those who have decided to test the beta version’s new features before they go public can now update to the latest version, while new users can download Opera Browser Beta for Android 21.0 for free via Google Play Store. The browser should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.0 and up.
