CyanogenMod, the most popular Android-based custom software, will soon be loaded on what can be called the first CyanogenMod smartphone, namely the OnePlus One.

The handset is being developed in collaboration with OnePlus, and it is now said to sport the “best specs” out there. The phone is expected to arrive in the second quarter of this year.

“OnePlus One will be built using only the best components and 2014 flagship specs, both inside and outside,” OnePlus said on Facebook.

As PhoneArena notes, this could suggest that the smartphone will sport a Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) touchscreen display, the same as flagship handsets from leading vendors out there are expected to.

However, no additional details on the phone have been provided, and it remains to be seen where it will be released, as China is the only market expected to receive it at the moment.
