It looks like the team handling OneDrive development has just delivered two updates for Microsoft's application, though the are targeting two different platforms.

We have already reported on the small but important update that OneDrive for Windows Phone recently received, so now let's see what the Android version gets.

Before giving you the details, you should know that the Windows Phone application got Cortana integration, which means that users will be able to search OneDrive using Microsoft's personal digital assistant.

Since Cortana has been confirmed to arrive on Android and iOS, it's possible that this feature will arrive on these platforms as well.

Until then, Android users will have to do with the new features added by Microsoft in this update. First of all, OneDrive now supports Android Wear, which means users will now be able to see their photos on a smaller screen with the OneDrive watch face.

Another important improvements is the addition of a new built-in PDF viewer to view PDF files and search within them.

If you don't have the application yet, you can now download OneDrive for Android for free via Google Play Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 2.3 and up.
