The highly-acclaimed “L.A. Noire” title has just been ported on Android tablets. Developer Team Bondi, publisher Rockstar Games and OnLive have just announced the immediate availability of “L.A. Noire: Touch Edition.”

According to devs, this is “BY FAR the highest-performance game ever designed for tablets,” due to the technology used which is owned by OnLive.

The game offers the same level of realism, detail and performance as the PC and console versions. Those who already own L.A. Noire (or L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition) through OnLive will have their games updated for touch-enabled play.

Otherwise, players will have to purchase the Android tablet version separately. “L.A. Noire: Touch Edition” is available via OnLive app for $5.99 /£3.99.

Unfortunately, OnLive services are only available in North America and the UK, but the company claims it will expand availability to Europe and Asia soon.
