Although HTC already stated that its HTC One series smartphone would be available on the market next month, few carriers have been more specific on the exact launch dates.

Fortunately, there’s one UK-based carrier that has just narrowed the release date time frame. According to SoMobile, O2 UK has just tweeted that HTC One X is expected to arrive in stock from April 5: “we're not due to get the HTC until 5th April so no decision on tariffs yet.”

HTC One X is the company’s Android flagship smartphone and comes equipped with an Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz.

The One X is powered by Google’s latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update and packs 32GB of internal memory and 1GB of RAM (no microSD card slot).
