Nokia has yet to make its next Lumia smartphone official on May 14, but carriers are already confirming plans to add it to their networks, and Vodafone UK is one of them.

The operator has announced on its website that the upcoming smartphone will become available for purchase to its users, although it did not offer specific info on the smartphone itself.

“We’re proud to be able to say that (even though our lips are firmly sealed ahead of the launch) Vodafone UK will be stocking the next chapter in the Lumia story,” the carrier announced.

According to the latest reports on the matter, however, May 14 should make the Nokia Lumia 925 official as the international flavor of the Lumia 928, long rumored to arrive on shelves at Verizon in the United States.

Running under Windows Phone 8, the device will arrive as an updated flavor of Lumia 920, rumor has it.
