The smartphone should start shipping in a matter of days

Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia is getting ready for the launch of a new Windows Phone 8 smartphone in China, namely the Lumia 720T, which is currently up for pre-order at China Mobile.

The smartphone will arrive on shelves in the country as a mid-level device, with a price tag of 2,499 Yuan ($405 / 310 Euro) attached to it, UnwiredView notes.

The handset is expected to start shipping in a matter of days, it seems, and should help Nokia gain some more market share in the country.

Lumia 720T sports about the same specs as the international flavor of the device, including a 4.3-inch screen, a dual-core processor inside, and 512MB of RAM.

Furthermore, the handset packs a 6.7-megapixel camera with HD video recording, a front camera for video calling, 8GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes.
