14 DAY TRIAL // A new Windows Phone application is now available for download for the owners of Nokia Lumia devices in the UK, namely JobLens, currently up for grabs as version 1.0.2848.0.
The software, made available for Lumia users in the United States and Canada last month, can now provide people in the UK with access to over 500,000 available job vacancies in the country, courtesy of a partnership with large industry names there.
The application offers not only a list of available jobs, but also enables users to search by company, keyword, and even by distance. Furthermore, it takes advantage of augmented reality capabilities to offer a better, more comprehensive experience to Lumia owners.
In the UK, Nokia has partnered with companies such as Entrepreneur First (the actual launch partner, WPCentral notes), Data.uk.gov, and Payscale for the release of this application.
