An updated flavor of the Nokia network+ application is now available for download for the owners of Nokia Lumia smartphones, namely version 2.2.1.11.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the software was designed to provide users with additional settings related to the phone’s connectivity capabilities, which should ensure that they can get the most out of their devices.

Unfortunately, the new app iteration does not come with a changelog attached to it, and we’re unsure on what was modified inside it.

However, chances are that Microsoft has refined the support for dual-SIM devices that was included in the app when version 2.1 was released.

The first Windows Phone handset to offer support for this functionality was made official in April this year and runs under the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system version.

However, Microsoft and its partners are expected to announce some more such devices moving forth, especially since dual-SIM phones are highly appreciated in emerging markets such as China and India.

Nokia Lumia users interested in downloading the latest version of the Nokia network+ application should head over to the Windows Phone Store for that. The software is available with support for both Windows Phone and Windows Phone 8.1 devices.
