Until Nokia unleashes the first Windows Phone Mango devices later this year, Fido customers will be able try out one of the older Nokia S40 phone, the X2-01.

The first Nokia X2-01dummy units have started to arrive at Fido, the folks at MobileSyrup claim, which confirms the upcoming availability of the handset.

As all the Xseries phones, the Nokia X2-01 is aimed at music lovers and comes in various color schemes, including Red, DeepGrey, Silver, Lilac and Azure.

However, the X2-01 can be an excellent communication tool for heavy texters, as the handset is features a full portrait QWERTY keyboard that makes texting more comfortable.

Fido has yet to announce the phone's price options, but rumor has it that Nokia X2-01 will be available for around $100 (73 EUR) or $10 (7 EUR) with two-year agreements.
