Nokia has recently released an updated version of the old Snake mobile game, which can be played in browser. The game can also be played on a mobile phone, but users need to be online and access Nokia’s website.

Today, the Finnish company announced that it ported the Snake ’97 mobile game on Lumia smartphones. This means that users won’t need to be online anymore to be able to play the addictive game.

Basically, the Lumia phone’s touchscreen is replaced by a replica of a Nokia 5110, including the phone’s keys and the small display.

To control the snake, players need to use the keys that appear on the touchscreen. Obviously, the game is still available in non-HD, two color theme, so don’t expect any fancy graphics from this retro game.
