A new smartphone from Nokia has received the necessary approvals from the FCC, namely the Nokia RM-941, which is said to be only a mid-range device.

The phone, previously spotted in AdDuplex’s database, should arrive on shelves with a WVGA resolution screen, a recent article on WMPoweruser notes.

At the FCC, the handset was approved with 4G capabilities, including support for LTE845 (Band 20), LTE1800 (Band 3), and LTE2500 (Band 7) bands.

According to NokiaPowerUser, the smartphone should be 128.6mm high and 70mm wide, which would bring it close to Lumia 720, thus suggesting that it might be launched as the successor of this device.

One of the photos that the FCC published with the device also shows that it will share design similarities with Lumia 925. Stay tuned for more info on the mater.
