A few weeks ago, Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia

made official a new Windows Phone 8-based smartphone, the Lumia 925.

The device is now said to be in testing at AT&T in the United States, although it was announced as exclusive to T-Mobile in the country.

The mobile phone was announced with the same hardware specifications as the Nokia Lumia 920, although with a different outer design and with a thinner body, and should arrive on shelves in various markets around the world later this month.

The US flavor of the device, model number RM-893, will hit shelves only at T-Mobile for a specific timeframe, though it seems that AT&T will also pick it up when the exclusivity period ends.

Proof of that comes from the Nokia Developer website, which lists the device as offering support for LTE band 17 (700MHz), used by AT&T, as Nokiapoweruser found out.
