Nokia Australia has just announced the upcoming availability of Lumia 610 and Lumia 900 Windows Phone devices in the country.

Nokia Lumia 900 is expected to hit shelves in June for $699 AUD outright or for free on Optus’s $60 AUD plan. The Lumia 610 will go on sale for $329 AUD on no-term or for free from Vodafone.

However, Vodafone will only add the Nokia Lumia 610 to its portfolio in July, whereas Boost Mobile will start offering the smartphone beginning June.

The Lumia 900 will be powered by Windows Phone 7.5 Mango, while the Lumia 610 will run a so-called Windows Phone Tango or Refresh, which is specially tailored to work on devices with only 256MB of RAM.

According to PCAuthority, Nokia Lumia 610 will be available in pink and blue, while the Lumia 900 will be available in cyan, magenta, black and white.
