Mobile phone users in the UK interested in the purchase of a Nokia Lumia 635 smartphone will be happy to learn that the device is already available for pre-order in the country, via Unlocked Mobiles.

The retailer has added the smartphone to its offering with a price tag of £145 ($247/€181) attached to it, and will sell it SIM-free and unlocked, just as you would imagine. The phone is expected to arrive in stock on July 3.

For this kind of money, users will receive a device packing a 4.5-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering an 854 x 480 pixels resolution, along with a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor complemented by 512MB of RAM.

Moreover, the Nokia Lumia 635 arrives on the market with 8GB of internal memory, as well as with a microSD memory card slot capable of supporting memory cards of up to 128GB.

On the back, the smartphone packs a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, which should be able to record videos in 720p resolution.

The handset also arrives on the market with support for 4G LTE networks, while being powered by a Li-Ion 1830 mAh battery (BL-5H). The usual set of connectivity capabilities and sensors are also available on this device.

The main selling point of the Nokia Lumia 635, however, is the fact that it runs under the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system, which has a lot of new features to offer compared to the previous releases.
