The handset sports a price tag of 3,499,000 VND ($166/€119)

On Sunday, Nokia has officially released the Nokia Lumia 525 smartphone on the market in Vietnam, providing users in the country with the possibility to grab yet another affordable smartphone running under Windows Phone 8.

The new device is up for grabs in this market with a price tag of 3,499,000 VND ($166/€119) attached to it, WPCentral reports.

Nokia Lumia 525 sports a 4-inch 800 x 480 pixels IPS LCD display, a 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, and 1GB of RAM (this is twice the RAM of the popular Lumia 520 that arrived in early 2013).

The smartphone also packs 8GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, and a 5-megapixel camera on the back. The device runs under the Lumia Black (Windows Phone 8 GDR3) software and arrives in Vietnam in Glossy Orange, White, and Yellow.
