The slightly enhanced version of Nokia Lumia 520 has just hit shelves in India. This is the third country that gets the Lumia 525, after the smartphone was released in Singapore and Vietnam earlier this month.

WMPoweruser reports that Windows Phone fans can purchase the Nokia Lumia 525 via JD.com online retailer for just 900 yuan outright, which is about $150 or €110.

The Lumia 525 comes with similar specs and look as the Lumia 520, the most popular Windows Phone handset available on the market.

However, the new handset packs 1GB of RAM instead of 512MB, which makes it compatible with even more popular Windows Phone applications and games.

The Lumia 525 is expected to arrive in more countries next year, probably around the same time that Nokia will announce its new lineup of Windows Phone devices for the first half of 2014.
