Nokia fans will be thrilled to know that the Finnish company has another surprise for them in the form of a new affordable Windows Phone handset, the Lumia 525.

Previously leaked as Nokia Glee, the Lumia 525 is the spiritual successor of the highly popular Nokia Lumia 520 entry-level smartphone.

The folks over at Liveside.net have just spotted the phone at Chinese certification agency TENAA, which suggests that Lumia 525 might be ready to hit shelves in the coming weeks.

While there are no details on the phone’s specs sheet inside Nokia’s documents filed at TENAA, previous rumors suggest that Lumia 525 might sport a WVGA capacitive touchscreen display, dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM.

Although the smartphone looks very much like the previous Lumia 520 model, the cited source claims that it’s certain that these certification photos are for the Nokia Lumia 525.
