Nokia’s Lumia 520 was already a cheap, appealing device, but the latest offer that Amazon has for it makes the Windows Phone 8 handset even more affordable: the phone is available at only $69.99 (€52), with free shipping included.

The mobile phone, launched as a pre-paid GoPhone on AT&T’s network, was available at $99 (€74) before, with no string attached. You can see it listed on this page at Amazon, with the new price tag next to it.

For $69.99, users will get a smartphone powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor, with 512 MB of RAM inside, and 4GB of internal memory.

The mobile phone also features a 4-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering an 800 x 480 pixels resolution, as well as a 5-megapixel camera on the back.

According to Nokia, the handset should be able to deliver up to 600 minutes of talk time, or up to 312 hours of standby time.
