The most affordable Windows Phone 8 handset launched by Nokia, Lumia 520, has just arrived in the Philippines.

According to MyNokiaBlog, the smartphone is now available for purchase for only PHP 7,990 outright, which is about $195 or €150.

The smartphone brings some of the high-end Lumia technology to lower tiers. Nokia Lumia 520 is equipped with a dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz, an Adreno 305 GPU, 512MB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory.

In addition, the device sports a decent 4-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution and features scratch-resistant glass coating.

The Lumia 520 also packs a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus and HD (720p) video recording, but lacking LED flash. It also features microSD slot card for memory expansion (up 64GB).
